We developed a dynamic animation to drive signups for the waitlist of BlockFi’s Bitcoin Rewards Credit Card, leveraging motion design to create urgency and excitement around the launch.
With a rapid turnaround time, the animation needed to captivate viewers and compel immediate action. The primary goal wasn’t just to inform but to build anticipation and foster FOMO, ensuring the card launch felt like a must-have event.
To resonate with our target persona—tech-savvy individuals drawn to nostalgia and innovation—we embraced a distinct aesthetic: a blend of early 90s infomercials and Saturday-morning toy commercials. This creative direction was informed by research into our audience’s preferences, aligning the card with their sense of style and humor.
Turnaround was fast and the information comes through really fast, but the point of the video wasn’t so much to inform as it was to build excitement around the launch, tapping into nostalgia that would immediately resonate with the target client.
