Mahogany Brown

To go from the ground to grinder, a coffee bean has to go quite a way. It has to endure. It has to struggle. It has to sacrifice a part of its character. Some beans have to sacrifice more than others. Those other beans – the lucky ones – are born naturally rich in flavor. But the beans that have to truly sacrifice and struggle and, ultimately, survive, are the ones that have that delicious bitterness that, deep down, we all crave.

Mahogany brown is the color of success. It’s the hue/tone/value that says, ‘Victory/Triump/Whole-bean-ness’.

Mahogany Brown is also a video about a bean who gets a job at a place where he thinks he’s becoming a part of something greater only to learn he’s just a product of something grinder.
